TPP study abroad students constructed a sports field, renovated the teacher's staff room and a classroom, donated books to the school library, and donated books, a blackboard, and a first aid kit to the pre-primary school.
In 2017, construction of the Engusero pre-primary school with two classrooms was completed. The structure includes a teacher's office and storage room. Educational murals were painted to decorate classroom walls and the exterior of the building. TPP purchased child-sized furniture, teacher desks, and storage cupboards. MSU and Tanzania study abroad students painted the furniture. Additional infrastructure includes a latrine, a rainwater harvesting system, and a 15,000-liter Ferro cement water tank to supplement the existing SIMtank.
